I’m an architect specializing in both the regional vernacular of the desert Southwest and contemporary living as far off grid as possible without giving up comfort. I’ve enjoyed amateur photography for several years utilizing cameras and drones to capture subjects as I see them. I have been very excited about drone photography and it’s potential for landscape as well as architectural photography though the FAA has recently made legal usage virtually impossible and I like many others will continue to expand my usage with the exception being that I will now do so without any attempt at legality. Safety guidelines have already been established and of course I will keep those guidelines in consideration with all future work.
I look forward to seeing what others are doing as well as sharing my own work within this forum.

Welcome to the forum. You live in a great place in Arizona.I enjoy nature, landscapes, wildlife and macro. I plan a trip in March to Madera Canyon to photograph Hummingbirds. They migrate in the canyon.
Welcome to the UHH. I am from Tucson as well.

Welcome, yes, a shame what the FAA and government are doing to ruin the multirotor ('drone') hobby! Time for RC planes?!
