For years I have produced an Apple Book of photos on my Mac. Now Apple has outsourced Book production to a choice of three Apps. Does anyone want to offer advice on the best and easiest to use book production company for a Mac. Thanks.
I have used Costco for quite a few. No specific computer models are required. Just upload photos, design and order. The design software is very friendly. Shutterfly offers similar services.

Blurb associated and embedded in Lightroom is an excellent option.

I've used Adoramapix. Very happy with the process and resulting book.
I've used Shutterfly a number of times...
Gets pretty easy after a few times.
I usually do an annual family book including our travels.

Agreed... I've done several the Blurb. Tempted to try Costco, though, as I've heard they do a good job and are more reasonably priced.

Check out Mixbook. Simple to use and usually great prices. Satisfaction guarantee.
I recently decided to make a book of my photos taken here while living in Alaska. I used Shutterfly. Once I understood their process it was very easy. The telephone and email support they provided was excellent and answered all my questions very well. It was pretty pricey though even with the use of a coupon. Costco opens here today and I will be looking into their options as well. Good luck with your endeavor.

I usually use Shuttterfly now. I was using Costco but found Shutterfly to allow you to be more creative. I recently did two books for my grand children using Mixbook because they can make a laydown flat photobook with thick pages that should be more durable in their hands.

Agree! Just place the photos in a collection and off to the Book module. Incredible flexibility to a fault. So many options you may want to explore.
One of the many benefits of the LR/PS package - one stop shopping. Book, web, slideshow, map and print.
I don't know about "best," but Adoramapix does a very good job. Nothing to complain about.
Shutterfly but there is a learning curve. You need to avoid their preset functions and do all the design yourself, IMO.

What you are seeking may not actually exist, the fact that someone else could telll you what what would work easiest for you. Learning speeds vary among us all when it comes to software or anything else. You also don't give a lot of information, for example, what three "Apps." People have offered up most of the main book production companies and all are ok. If you use LR, which you do not say, the easiest approach is to create a collection and use the Book Module to create a book, and then hit the upload key and it goes to Blurb. Once in Blurb, you can look at the book again in the finished format and check everything out to ensure it is ok. If it is not, you can delete the book in Blurb and make corrections in LR and then upload again. So, a nice way to get that last edit. Just pick a book manufacturer and give it a shot. What you like may not be the same as what someone else likes.
Shutterfly! I have used Shutterfly for over 15 years, I believe, and could not be more impressed by the quality of service. Their customer service is excellent and quick. I have 39,000 some odd pictures stored on Shutterfly and I make books, calendars, gifts and so many other things through Shutterfly that I would be lost, at this point, without it. I recommend it highly. They will literally help you through any problem by Chat Room or even telephone.
