Our neighbor asked me to photograph her cat whose name is Ed. Old Ed is about fourteen and despite his infirmities he
continues to go on. We had a Calico cat for about the same time so I know just how they tolerate you and on rare
occasions they will even display a show of affection. To get the right expression on Ed's face I had his owner hold him in
her lap. What came about was a look of permissive satisfaction.

I commend you for this...cat don't have long life spans, so glad you captured old Ed.

Excellent shot. Great idea having him
sit on the owner's lap.

Love the picture. Makes me question, “What’s he thinking?”

Beautiful! I've seen Old Ed's expression on many of my cats when they are on my lap and kneading me. Sometimes I have to tell them 'no claws' but they don't care and continue to use claws.

Well done, I'd bet he was purrring.

Very nice. I was looking at much the same facial expression on my roommate a few minutes ago, accompanied by the usual amount of purring.
