Social change has always been slow and difficult. Your opinion that these team players are 'trashing America' is yours. It is easy to conclude that you are white, accustomed to a good life-style and not willing to be empathetic. Other than that, you are probably a nice guy.

What’s happened is that we are coming apart at the seams. Look at history, and you’ll see that every country runs in cycles, from its bottom status to its top, then it crests, and then heads downhill--destination uncertain. It appears that we have crested and are on the downslide. This crest came, I think, sometime after the ‘50s when we no longer became winners and started being satisfied with the status quo, when we became obsessed with the touchy-feely and less with our own strength. We chose weak leaders (President, Congress, major appointees, etc.), and now we are paying the price. Some try to right the ship, but they are failing, unfortunately.

In my opinion: When I was a child, the politicians tried to middle of the road on issues, extremist didn't get far. Then one of the political parties started courting extremist, by extremist I mean anyone with a point of view that won't compromise their position. To them it is black and white, yes or no. There is no grey area on their issues, if there is no compromise, as in guns, one side will not allow any laws, or regulation, period and a******n, where again, one side sees it as a black and white, legal or illegal, and when you can't compromise nothing will get done.

No more enforceable dress codes in schools; don't have to stand for the Pledge to the F**g; little Johnny is always right...the teacher is always wrong; let's all be politically correct....and have a safe place when we don't like an opposing opinion; let's hire an attorney and sue; women march dressed in vagina outfits; scenes of inner-city violence (l**ting, burning, r**ting) and the r****t group Black L***s M****r...seemingly supported by the previous administration including questionable music/entertainment supported at the White House; a previous administration that disrespected America and the American f**g...spreading un-American sentiments around the globe; the rise of the clamor for government-provided "free stuff" (socialism); government oversight and control far beyond what is necessary.... and bureaucrats making regulations in a growing number of government agencies....

Technology happened. In today's society, a "news bite" can go worldwide in milliseconds.

There is a new sheriff in town who is trying to turn things around. Make America Great Again.
