I have found on Amazon a Nikon D500 that seems to have a good price and includes some things that are attractive to me: battery grip, extra batteries, etc. It is sold through Beach Camera, and Amazon states it is an authorized Nikon USA dealer. Does anyone have any experience with Beach Camera? Thanks!

They've been around, but I would make absolutely sure it's not a gray market camera they are selling.

I have purchased used lenses, TV's, and computer parts. Never a problem, no grey market items because I asked before purchase, always good communications. I am just one customer, seems to be someone who doesn't like them, but he did not state why. They are on my list with B&H, Adorama, KEH, Cameta, and a local.

Beware. They will sell you broken junk, jerk you around about credit when you send it back. If they can avoid a refund for 90 days they have won as by then your credit card company will not pull the funds from their account. One of the worst scam artists around. When threatening with calling your credit card company, they quickly issue a refund.

Another way to search involves your browser - search on “UglyHedgehog.com and insert text you are looking for” on your computer or tablet. Check with the Better Business Bureau. Do a Google search on Beach and look for individual or groups posting negative responses.

It's a good deal, but not a great deal. B&H is throwing in a few thing including a Nikon grip. The price is $1796 and you get another $35 back in rewards.

B&H is a pretty well respected dealer.
