Great Photos. Did you notice some were taken with blue (only) sensitive film.

WWI was a horrible, unnecessary slaughter. It was supposed to be "the war to end all wars" and look what has happened since. The human species has an evil streak that won't go away.

Look at the blue field on the American flag in the photo. Pretty blocked up - it looks almost white.

The armistice of WWI was essentially a cease fire, which eventually morphed into WWII 20 years later.

WWI armistice numbers are unique: The document was signed on 11:11 at 11:am, 1918.
