Got Some!
"Lil' Snowy" was about to step in the water when he snatched a piece of bread out of the air right over a duck's head. I cloned out the little bit of the duck that was in the frame.

Good choice to clone out the duck. The focus is on the egret and his piece of bread. Love how the light plays on his feathers.

This Snowy and a Great Egret 3-4 times his size were there. The GE was in the water in and around the feeding frenzy of ducks after the fish coming up for the bread. This Snowy chased bread on shore and in the water.
The action was taking place in the shadow of the observation platform and walkway from the shore.

Thanks very much. There is a reason that the first edition and now the second have sold so well for the last 20 years.
Ken Rockwell in his review of the mark II noted that a lot of pro wildlife photographers used the mark I to make a living for 16 years and he only expected the mark II to be even better and make a living for even more photographers.

Thanks very much. I have seen both Great Egrets fly low and slow over the water trailing their feet in the water and when a small fish/minnow was startled into jumping they strike backwards and take it out of mid air without changing direction or pulling their feet up. Wish I had been doing a burst of the birds when I saw this happening, but I was just watching to watch. Since the Snowy Egrets seem to be just as fast I assume one of them could pull that off also.
