Does ink ever go "stale?" I replaced all of the cartridges in my Pro-10 and now on all of my prints the colors are "wonky."
The cartridges have been stored approximately 8-12 months in my desk drawer.
Your ink would have to be way older than that to cause this problem. The ink I've had for my Canon printers always had a use by date on them but I've gone a year past the use by date and had no problems at all. So to answer your question, probably not. There's probably another problem in your user settings.
"wonky" usually means that BOTH the printer driver and your image software are trying to manage the color. Pick one. Turn the other off.

I have never encountered a problem with Canon Inks going bad so far, are you using Canon Ink cartridges or a compatible ink cartridges?
Could one or more of the print heads be slightly clogged (not completely open)?
1. are all the inks in the correct spot?
2. as above, if you run a nozzle check are the results OK?
3. are your print settings perhaps different from what you used previously?
4. any other changes to your computer? macOS updates are known to mess up printer drivers.
The Pro-10 uses ten ink cartridges, compared to the Pro-100 eight carts. The key difference is that the Pro-10 uses pigment inks, while the Pro-100 uses dye-based inks.
Like other high-end pigment inkjet printers, the Pro-10 applies a clear coating with a âchrome optimizerâ that is supposed to minimize glare and maximize color vibrancy.
Most of us own dye-based ink printers, with little experience with pigment-based printers.
I finally got back to this. As recommended, I pulled each cartridge out and gave it a good shake. I noticed that the Cyan cartridge had not been printing. After the good shake and reinsertion, prints came out as expected. Thanks everyone for your help and suggestions.
