Steubenville, Ohio recently began "First Friday on Fourth", a monthly street party in an attempt to bring life back into this depressed town. Here are some shots from the July event.

pg. 2 - Awesome series, Sue. I really enjoyed this one.

Here a few for tonight - took some in New York in anticipation of this challenge, RR. The first one cracked me up. I had to shoot so fast (bus was moving) that I couldn't tell till I uploaded if I got what I hoped I caught - and I did. The face on the old building has eyes that appear to be looking straight at the young beauty on the billboard.

pg. 2 - Great capture, Pat. I'm sure I would have missed that
first image if you wouldn't have described it! Awesome!

PS Who can blame the eyes on the old building for checking out that beauty...LOL

I've always been a little hesitant to take pictures of
complete strangers, but do have some "street scenes"
where strangers are present.

The "strangest" are from the "Drag Races" in Key West,
which I've posted before, so I'll start with some from
"down under..."

Street stuff is also crammed with history if we know the area. For instance back maybe a hundred years ago there was a hotel there, below that cliff, at a RR station and was eventually torn down but two parts were saved andare now a choice place to live. My wife's grandfather worked there at the station
