There was a lot more to 1960s than Woodstock. Headed for Woodstock, but turn around when I saw the sea of people, hell it was a ocean of people.

Guess there going be five locations here in the country for the celebration. One is at Smith center Kanas. Center of the 48. I went to the one in Davis Oklahoma when they celebrated the 40th.

A "possible" anniversary concert. I'd be surprised if it goes ahead. Where would it be held? I foresee too many potential problems.

it will be so commercialized the true spirit of Woodstock will be lost in extravagant ticket prices

Woodstock! The happening of my generation. Just talking to people I know there must have been at least 2,000,000 people there. I think maybe you and I are the only two people in our generation that admit to NOT being there. Just an aside, without Janis and Jimmi, and so many others no longer with us, why try.

Woodstock was from a difference time, and that time is long go and can't go back. Remember it for what was.

Went to the 40th tribute they had in 09 at Davis Oklahoma. They had a black guy there impersonating Hendrix. That was totally astoundingly amazing sounded just like him. But then they had an amazing sound man
