This is me...6 "eyes", freckles and all. Picture captured by one of three daughters with one of my cameras...nothing fancy, mind you. I welcome being a small part of this forum and look forward to learning a thing or two as I maneuver my way slowly into the group. I have many questions to ask. Tons of pictures to delete that I somehow only chip at the surface of the issue...any ideas besides just DO IT? I am retired and don't know how I had time to work (anybody feel my pain). Thought I would just hit the road more with my camera, yet that has not yet happened to the level I'd like. I have a Cannon Rebel T5i with a small assortment of lenses. I have a problem with getting things "tack sharp". I do have a fabulous although cumbersome tripod. I LOVE nature photos more than taking portraits. I do want to learn more and am willing to take constructive criticism. I sew, quilt, bake, decorate and do more "hobby" photography. I love to be surprised at the beauty of everyday things. Ok ENOUGH of me. Looking forward to my time here although it may be more hit and miss.

Hi Brendaholland, welcome to UHH. We are all on the path to enlightenment here, some less and some more than others...not to worry. Ask all the questions you want, and read the myriad of answers you will receive...Some good, some not so good, some funny, but all in good faith. Welcome to the Forum. Ask lots of questions but, BUT!!!, ask them one at a time. So often folks ask a bunch of questions at the same time and wonder why they don't' get a response. If you ask a specific question and provide a photo, or detail a specific situation, then us old fogeys will have a shot at answering.
There are also some experts that will answer if the question is well stated.

Welcome from just up in West TN! And yes, I still wonder how I ever had time to work! And yes I too have tons of photos that need deleted!!!
