Read the first paragraph.......at least. Makes me laugh that IBM basically invented the computer and now are converting to Macs!

Gee, and still there are those who cling to archaic beliefs that the PC technology is better.

Go figure.

Funny. I used to work with a guy who kept telling us how Apple was on the verge of going out of business.

That would be like Chevy using Fords for service vehicles and customer transport at their dealer's lots!

If you invested 10K in Apple in 1998, it would be 1.3 million today

(IBM basically invented the computer) Mainframe yes, PC no. The ENIAC was the first commercial computer built by the military.

Yes and I had a ton of Apple stock that I "managed to sell" in the "down" period for about .10 a share and thought that I got a decent deal.. now Apple is $216.00 a share. I was bailing when it looked like they were going the way of Sinclair, Pet, and others.

And I miss (not) my Apple II with two full height floppies, 8-bit architecture, etc.

After 45 years in the computer field which made me picky I thought I would correct the statement nothing more intended.
