I must say the Sony a7 III can be a bit intimidating. It is capable of doing so many things via the menu but you've got to learn it. Not as easy as lets say my Canon 5DIII but the results are very positive.
I now have a good basic understanding of the camera. The Godox / Flashpoint is a bit tricky to incorporate with the Sony but once you have it figured out it's an easy system to love.
I do have a full wedding coming up on the 27th and I'll be putting all the new equipment to test, I'll have a further update after the wedding.
So I have the a7 III body, 35mm f/1.4, 85mm f/1.8 and the 24-105 f/4 lenses.
I have (2) Godox 860 spped lights, one 350 Godox speed light and the new Flashpoint 600 mono flash ... will be a fun nigt for sure.

I actually forgot you are working with a new camera system AND a new strobe. A challenge, but I'm sure you will more than rise to the occasion.
My rescheduled engagement shoot should "hopefully" happen this weekend. The forecast is for rain again, so ....... I think I'm just not meant to get her "beautiful fall color" engagement photo. Between their work schedules (retail) and the weather, it's like I'm being conspired against.
I hope to be posting soon, but?????

If anyone can do it, you can. I remember when first going from my D200 to my D7000 as my main camera body, I ended up soon after starting the getting ready photos, I panicked trying to figure out the setting (soooo different on the controls) so I went back to the D200.
You had the brains to do a ton of testing before hand. I got too cocky with a new camera. I won't make that mistake that again.

Not a ton ;)
But I should be OK
It's always scary the first time out for real with a new camera. In the heat of the moment when relying on muscle memory.....
