Great shot, Sylvia. My cat never did that, but my dog (medium sized one) did! He filled the suitcase.

Clean clothes and a box are almost as inviting as catnip.

It appears that he/she wants to go with you and this is a subtle hint. After all,
subtlety is not well developed in a cat.

Too true! Thank you very much Ted for looking in and your comments, they are appreciated.

Sylvia, Great shots! Whenever my wife and I pack for a trip our old Persian cat would immediately plop into the open suitcase clearly indicating that we should either take him or not go.

Years ago whenever my cat disappeared I'd look in the linen cupboards in the hall. She was usually in the one with the towels.

The same thing happens at my house when I go on vacation. When I make her get out she pouts until I leave but loves me to death when I get back.

That only happened the first time with my Siamese. He was taken to be boarded with the vet and apparently thought it was forever. My mother picked him up while I was at work and he would not let her out of his sight. Then when I got home, he would not let me out of his sight and was very well behaved for about a week. The next vacation he was normal from day one.

Stowaways aren't supposed to be caught until it's too late to send them back home, lol! Fun shots, Sylvia!

Very cute - he looks comfortable and ready for the trip - just zip it up and you’re ready to go. Cats cannot resist an open container. One of our Abbys (never let outside) disappeared. We were frantic, searched the house, neighborhood, put out flyers all over the neighborhood. That night, while my wife and I were crying over the thought that she might have gotten outside and been lost or killed, I decided to search the house one more time. On a whim I opened a deep drawer in a chest of drawers about 5’ from our bed, and there she was where she had been since we closed the drawer sometime in the last day. She didn’t make a sound and was very comfortable in the drawer among our clothes.

They are funny animals. We have a large alibaba wash basket in the bedroom, one day I emptied the dirty laundry out and didn’t put the lid back on until later in the day. One of the kitties we had then always used to hide somewhere in the house, so I wasn’t concerned. I put the lid back on and we went to bed. At 3am there was this crash, frightened us thought we had burglars.....no she had decided to jump out and knocked it over!!
Thank you very much TriX for looking in and telling me your story. Pleased you like the shots.

I have a very spoiled diva Siamese that really hates it when I get it my suitcase. I have to put her out of the room and close the door or she will be in the bag unpacking it.

When I get home I open the bag and let her unpack. She has everything out in under a minute.

Great photos of the kitty!!!! Enjoy your trip!

I wish Ted would do the unpacking, not something I like doing!! Thank you very much Dodie for your kind comment and wishes I do appreciate them. Pleased you like them.
