I was feeling sad and not just a little bit angry, so I went for a 2-mile walk through a beautiful garden. These lifted my spirits. I hope they will brighten your day.
It's not perfect, but it's the first time I got a butterfly in flight!

Your flutterby flying by is so adorable, Kathy! I also love #4 for the light and the close grouping of the blooms. Very glad to hear your walk helped what was ailing you

Thanks, Linda. I'd been following that butterfly all over the garden, and finally just shot him as was. I was shocked that I actually got him!
And I was so surprised by those spring flowers. It was a small clump. We've had all this rain and cool weather. I guess they thought they'd been through winter and now it was time to bloom! Serendipitous!

I saw a lot of "Blue Morpho" butterflies on my trip to Costa Rica earlier this year. They are plentiful there!
