Its liberating as a creative photographer to forget about making money or comparing yourself to other photographers and just go play with your camera. For me, its climbing sand dunes or wading through water at sunset. It brings me to life.

These are lovely Judy. I so agree with your comment, but for me I will add driving country roads....I have found it is my passion and I love it. A few from today.....
I rode the Bainbridge Island to Seattle ferry and took photos out on the deck. It is fun to visit new places like Bainbridge and take an unfamiliar ferry ride to see the Seattle skyline.

I picked a quote related to photography and images to go with it:"Sometimes I arrive just when God's ready for someone to click the shutter."- Ansel Adams

Neat, Karin...I was watching the sun rays coming through the tree stand in our back yard early this afternoon...those rays are certainly commanded by our maker!
Nice shots of them!

These are nice captures of a truly lovely area, GR. My daughter lived in Seattle for 8 years or so..We had the opportunity to take the ferry and camp out on the islands...We also got to see the Orca Whales off of Orca Island...rode our bikes there and were so close that we were sprayed by their blow by! Doesn't smell too great but it was a breath taking experience! Lots of great memories-beautiful part of this wonderful country!
