Is anyone surprised that the dems don't want the report released to the public? I guess they don't want us to see the proof of Kavanaugh's innocence while the dems all v**e against him.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said Tuesday that Democrats have a series of demands before a v**e on Kavanaugh – publicly release the directive given to the FBI, an FBI briefing to senators, and a public release of the FBI report.

"We are getting report after report of people who call the FBI Hotline, the tips line, and are never called back," Schumer said. "People who claim - we don’t know the veracity of these claims - but people who claim to have new and compromising information."

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has since announced that the report would not be made publicly available.

If anyone thinks that just because Sen McConnell won't officially release the FBI reports they won't be leaked you haven't been paying attention. Within minutes of the senators getting their copies, we'll know just about everything. And that includes how the professor taught how to beat a polygraph test.

Lindsay Graham is calling for it to be public, but now I am reading that FBI reports are NEVER released to the public. You can bet someone will leak it if it helps their side.

The problem is that each party will leak selected portions of the FBI report to validate their claims. The only honest politician will be the one that leaks the whole thing. That is risky, because that sort of leak is easy to trace back to the originator; there is less chance if portions are leaked.
