This Island is one of the most photographed tourist places in the South of England, and occaisionally is lit up at night.
Every night I tried to capture the illuminated view but rain stopped play most of the time until there was one chance to get a shot before the lights were turned off.
2 secs at f/5.6. Pitch dark sky (has brightened up in the photo so maybe a bit over exposed)
Comments and helpful guidance will be welcomed, I know this could be better but I don't know how to improve.
St Michaels Mount at night
The first thing that came to mind was to try taking it in portrait mode so you'd get the castles reflection in the water, all be it a blurred reflection with a long exposure.

I thought I had one or two with reflections out of the many frames I shot, but none of them are any good, noise crept in bigtime.
Thank you for your comment, I will try harder with composition becuse I'm sure you are right.
