Looked out the window just now and saw this early morning train entering the city. Took forever to move slowly across the bridge.
Must have been hauling a really heavy load requiring one third of the FWWR'S locomotive fleet.

I think the railroads are running longer trains than in prior years. I frequently see trains made up of 4 front engines and 1 or 2 pushers from the rear around Houston and South Texas. Nice to see your catch across a river bridge.

There are usually a hundred or more cars on trains traveling that track into/outta town. Most times there are three leading engines with one or two pushers. This is a first for me to see five together in the five years I’ve been in Fort Worth. Trying to get the day started I didn’t think to watch for the train’s end - as long as that one was there might have been a “pusher” too.
