Thank you for your comment. I agree about the polarization. I may pull it back a bit in the sky with the "dodge" tool, I wanted to be sure to get the clarity of the water since that is Mount Desert Island's water source.

One of my favorite vacation spots. Great images, Alan. I like the "less usual" view of The Bubbles, maybe just a tad over-polarized?

Thanks! The variety of shots that can be taken in such a relatively small area amazed and really pleased me.

Thanks. Fortunately for me, there were so many choices of subject matter.

Thanks for your nice comment. I used to be somewhat of a neighbor of yours down in Plantation, FL. Now in Ocala.

Thank you!
June was beautiful and I got lucky with only one day of semi-rainy weather. I was there at ANP from June 13th thru the 17th. Cool nights (40s), mild days (60s to about 80). Sunrise shot at 4:45 am atop Cadillac Mtn. was in the 30s though. Crowds were not a problem although the free shuttles don't operate until about the last week of June. Stayed at Cromwell Harbor Motel, Bar Harbor, with off-season rates booked thru HOTELS.com. Excellent experience, spacious, beautifully maintained, quiet, within short walking distance of the shops/restaurants, etc.
A fall trip sounds like it would be great too. Enjoy!

Great series! We are planning two trips to the area, a fall colors trip and a June trip. How is the weather in June normally? We were thinking early June to get ahead of some of the crowds; good idea? Based on your images, it looks like a great time to go.
