Welcome to the UHH. An EOS what? Pretty much every camera model Canon has made for the past 30 years is an EOS.

Are you asking if you should buy a D5600? Do you want a D5600? Can you afford a D5600? They're not really expensive at all and they're a pretty nice little consumer camera capable of producing quality photographs.

Of yeah, advice. Since you have a photography background, you probably already know much of what you need about composition and exposure and aperture and shutter speed and ISO and stuff like that, so, I strongly recommend you get a good book about digital photography and read it and let it guide you back into the joys of photography.

Welcome. This is a good forum and you can learn as much, or as little, as you want.
I would suggest you change your Location to something else. Just a State or a part of the country will help others to make comments and suggestions.
