Sometimes the light sets up perfectly. A little bit of Alpenglow this fall. Aspens are changing and this weekend should be peak. However, the weather is due for a change which will facilitate a rapid disintegration of the great colors as frost, wind and rain will have their effect.

Nice shots. Beautiful country and a great time of year. The first pic is a bit too saturated for my taste. I might have turned the polarizer another quarter twist or so or reduced saturation in post. Number 2 is right on the money.

Its a great time of the year for Telluride color. Going up the ski lift can also yield some drama!

Man, are these great! The sidelighting in the first image and the reflection in the second. Can't imagine how either could have been better.
