Lovely pictures! and thanks for the memories, I have not seen one of these for over 52 years - since I left The Netherlands for Canada.
There is a robin here quite a bit larger than the European one, which we do get to enjoy in our backyard and even on the sundeck.

Robin Redbreast = Erithacus rubecula
American Robin = Turdus migratorius

Bob I was about 10 meters from it. the one on the washing line was a little further about 12 meters.

Thanks for the comment. It is an English Robin they occur in the Uk and much of Europe.
