Nice shots. The deer come into my yard and eat all my roses. I run out and threaten them with a stay in my freezer, but it doesn't seem to stop them from coming back. sigh. Nice!

The name actually comes from the fantasy movie Princess Bride.
Around here the white tail deer is second to the squirrel in abundance. They are pretty but also a nusiance. Their Apex predator is the automobile and when struck can do substantial damage. They also have a nasty habit of destroying home gardens and flower beds. Yes, they are cute oversize rodents.

When i left Wisconsin i hoped and prayed i would be able to live around them again.Its one of the many things a country girl longs for.
We have invaded their turf and we have to accept the many things that comes with living with them. Out here, if you want something to remain, you protect your young trees and plants. I'm sorry that you feel the way that you do, but there are workable options. Keep safe when you travel.
