A local guy has collected all these old, "dually", farm, stake trucks. His dad used to operate a junkyard in our area. He graciously allowed me to take their portraits today. More to come in days ahead.
Nice! Looking forward to more.
OMG, my dad would be in seventh heaven. When I was younger I helped my dad restore an old Dodge pickup. If recall serves me right, it was a 1947 power wagon. We converted it from 6 to 12 volts and used the original starter motor. It was built so tough, the only effect 12 volts had on it was it spun faster. It took years to complete that project; I just wish I still had that truck.
Nice shot! You title is fitting. They appear to be resting in peace in a lovely spot.
Nice shot. Must be an old mill around somewhere since there are a couple of stones leaning on one of the trucks.
