New Bern, NC got hit so very hard. We were there the weekend before riding in the MS Bike Tour of Historic New Bern (MS fundraiser ride) and it was so very peaceful and beautiful as usual (we've held the event there for the past 18 years). So very many friends and so many wonderful people are experiencing so much pain.
We are currently involved in an effort by cyclists to collect and distribute supply donations to the New Bern area.

I do hope you fared well, I have friends and family in both North & South Carolinas. Friends 100 miles inland were hit harder than some family right on the coast. Thanks for sharing the photos.

We made out ok....some flooding, a few roads still closed....I didn't have any damage other than the loss of one tree....I'm about 3 1/2 hours inland
