I can't figure out how to post my pics? HELP!!!! :oops:

Go to the help section and read it. after selecting your text select yor images but do not I repaet do not qick on preview. By doing this you will delete your images, They will not show until after your posting is complete. Re read the help section on posting photos and follow it exactly and your images will post

Go to 'create new topic' at the top of the forum page. Type in message and name of message. browse and download your image using the browse line below the message box. Do not hit preview after attaching your photo. I will remove the photo. :-P

Okay. First, you must resize the images to no wider than 600 pixels.

Then, you must know where in your computer the images are so you can navigate to that folder to attach the images to your entry or post, as it's called.

Up at the top of any page in the forum there is, on the bottom left in the heading, "Create New Topic." Click on that a white drop down box will open in which it says "Main Photography Discussion."

Click on the down arrow on the right and the selections will expand downward. Select "Pictures" and you'll be taken to another page where you will need to give a title and description of what your pictures are about.

After you've done that, below those boxes you will see "Choose File" with blank spaces out to the left. Click on the first "Choose File" button and navigate to the folder where you have your pics stored. When you select the first one to open, the name of it will appear where it now says "No file chosen." Repeat for the next two and then click on "Send." If you decide to "Preview" and click on that, it will detach your pics and you will have to repeat the process of choosing all of them. I don't use "Preview" because it only causes more work.

Another thing is that some users using various versions of Internet Explorer and Firefox for their browsers are having trouble with their posts making the trip. They've found that downloading Google Chrome and using it as their browser has fixed the problem. You can try it with what you're using but if it doesn't work, Chrome may be in your future. If that's the case, you just get Google up and on the menu bar up near the top, you want to select "more" and then "even more" and there you'll find Google Chrome. Clicking on it will install it on your computer and you should be on your way. If you get stuck, let you can send me a Private Message (PM) and I'll try to walk you through it. Good luck.

Occassionaly I see someone post that the images have to be resized to submit. I know this is true on most sites, but I have always submitted mine to this site full size (over 3000px x 3000px.

I think there was something about the images might be delayed in getting posted. I heard the site software will cut them down.

Glad to see you made it. We've had so many folks have that problem lately that I just keep that where I can cut and paste it and send it to new users. It's quick, clean, and effective.

Admin has said that it is good and preferable if images are re-sized before being submitted.

Hi. I wouldn't attempt to explain what happened - have no idea. You might try to re-size them and send them in again. Might wind up with 2 sets but two may be better than none. :-)
I just went and had a look at your submissions and the last one that's showing is "Girl Loves Boy" and that's been here a few days.

You are a gentleman, at least so far. :-D I didn't know that picture made it. I guess there just weren't any responses and I didn't see it. I'm in Vancouver now and going to Victoria tomorrow, then on and on to Calgary if I can keep up with mom in law.
