shot loosely, would crop if it was going to my book or the model's. shooting loosely has many benefits.

Glad not going in your book or the model's <grin> There may be many benefits of shooting loosely, but also apparently some downfalls too - dirty feet, hard shadows, slumping buttock and ribs sticking out further than the breast in the posing, uncombed hair, etc. Other than that, I like it! <grin>

I wish you had cropped out the legs of the stool - yes, it would have cut off the lower half of the leg and foot but, to me, that's OK - wouldn't detract as the legs of the stool do, at least for my eye

Especially the harsh shadows. All you need to do is put her 5-6 feet from the backdrop and most of that would be gone.
