Does anyone use this software? If so, hoping you can help answer the following:

1. AfterShot 3, Perfectly Clear 2 SE, and Live Screen Capture all came with software. However, after loading via Corel web site (no CD drive), these applications are not present. What is needed?
I've left Corel multiple unresponded messages.
2. I have many images and videos from a vacation that I would like to combine into a single video. Is this possible?

Thanks in advance

After you downloaded the software, did you then click on the downloads and actually install them?

Concerning the video: Corel also has a product called VideoStudio which would let you combine still photos into a video. You can control timing, add transitions, titles, sound files, etc. It's not the most intuitive software I've ever used, and I recently had some problems working with a professionally-produced video within it that seemed to be rooted in the software since I didn't have the same problem with competitive applications. Meanwhile, I've been getting offers from Corel to buy the latest version for about $25 which is a good price. I also have an application called Movavi which does comparable things but is simpler to learn and comes with good file conversion software. It's also possible to make a video from stills using PowerPoint but you'd be disappointed with the quality.

BTW, Aftershot is a different animal. It's editing software primarily for working with RAW files. You can configure it to export your image to PaintShopPro for further tinkering, but Aftershot is not meant to work within PSP. Live Screen Capture is also a stand-alone program for creating video files of whatever's playing on your screen. Perfectly Clear does function within PSP and you access it from PSP's Effects/Plug-ins menu. It's a very useful quick-fix adjunct.

Each time i purchase Corel software i receive an email with download instructions and passwords for the items that need one. From the email i click on the download and a compressed file is downloaded. Then from my browser i select the downloaded file and it starts the install process. Most of the time i can cut and paste the password from the email.

That's how it works when I buy mine, haven't bought 2019 yet, BTW I believe X9 is an old version, I'm using 2018 and had X7 and X8 (still have the install files) and some earlier versions too.

Each application has to be installed individually. Some may have their own serial number, which should have been sent via email.

Paintshop doesn't edit video. I use Corel Pinnacle Studio.

I too received an email from Corel with download instructions and serial numbers for those applications that needed them. Perfectly Clear does not need a serial number for installation. Once installed, open the EDIT tab in PSP, select effects, plugins, Athentech Imaging to open Perfectly Clear.

I have both PSP2018 &2019. An email from Cleverbridge/Corel came after I paid for the program. On the email was a website to which I could download all the programs I purchased. I have been using PSP for some time and After Shot Pro 3. My understanding is that After Shot is for raw photos like one would use LightRoom. I used all the YouTube tutorials and all that Corel had on their Discovery page. It took a bit, but I not too bad at it now. Same with PSP. I imagine that the Adobe products have the same learning curves.

Thanks for the constructive responses. Now have the suite of PSP apps up and running. I'll attempt these before looking at additional tools, but thanks for that feedback as well.

Good luck!

On this forum you will find mostly Photoshop/Lightroom groupies. The more I use Paintshop Pro (currently, version 2019) the more I find that Paintshop accomplishes the same tasks as PS, either equally or better, with an easier user interface. I'll get flamed for saying this, but, I wouldn't say it if I didn't believe it.

Make up your own mind. Give Paintshop Pro a chance. Any software application will take a while to learn. The more you use it, the more you will appreciate what it can do and the easier it will be to get your tasks accomplished.

I agree with you, I haven't used an Adobe product in at least 10 years, probably more, did find my first elements disk the other day, probably should donate it.

I had Photoshop Elements for years, up to version 12. I never could get used to how various things worked, especially text functions. When I tried Paintshop Pro, everything finally made sense. Have been happy with all the three versions I have owned. I, too, uninstalled Elements and haven't regretted my decision.
