Twin Peaks and 100%natural

I have been out and about most of the day running errands. During this time I came across the words, twin peaks and 100% natural on several occasions. I didn’€™t think much about it until later this afternoon when I came across this image of my partner. So, I felt compelled to post this.

I don't care for the processing at all. It looks like the luminosity is cranked all the way up or none of the image was ever in focus to begin with. After seeing the work you've shown us this far I'm going to go out on a limb and say your wife doesn't know you're posting these. There are hundreds of sites where you can post photos of blurry boobs for comments, this is really a site about seeking feedback on your photography.

Photography is a freedom of expression, so means something different to each of us. I’ve seen what others gave posted and not all of it is to my taste, but none the less to each their own. From the get go I’ve been upfront on why our images are muted.

I also do not like the luminosity. Were it not for that I think if would be a neat photo

I have to agree with the negative comments about the lack of detail and sharpness where it is most critical in this image. No anonymity would be lost by a crisp clean view of the lovely twin peaks.

I guess you missed the point of my previous post. This has nothing to do with maintaining your wife's anonymity, a need I completely understand. I'm wondering if is she modeling for you at all.

Let's look at your four posts thus far. We have this one: A close-cropped profile of two breasts. Right before this one another close cropped profile rendered with a few variations of post-processing. Prior to that, a photo of your wife getting into the shower, again rendered with a series of filters. And then we have your first work, another close-cropped profile of two breasts. Taking all that into account, I don't see any image that looks like your wife posed for you. The quality on all of them is so poor they could be frame grabs from a cell phone video. So my conclusion is she's not posing for these. And if she's not actively posing for the images is it such a leap to believe that she might not be aware they are on here? Not really. Could I be wrong? Certainly.

In most of the other areas of this site, model consent is not a big deal, there are no people in the photo or in street photography they are out in public. The portrait folks and the wedding subgroup need to have a release if they're going to share images on a forum like this. Some probably have only verbal permission and for the risk involved, that's probably enough in their mind.

We here in Naked Land should also have releases. The release not only protects you against the model, it also makes the image marketable. I say this as someone who has a file folder full of releases, one of which is a blanket release for all the images I take of my wife. You can't sell an image that you don't have a model release for. You might be able to sell a print at a yard sale, but that's about where it stops.

So, I hope you understand where I'm coming from. Occasionally I'll have a camera out fiddling with it and my wife will walk by noticeably bra-less. Her figure will inspire lascivious thoughts and I'll say hey, flash me! Being the sport she is she'll stop, face me, lift her shirt and I'll take a snapshot. That is a posed shot. An interesting aspect of the law in most places is you can show a boob flash photo to all your buddies and there's nothing your wife can legally do to you. If you hide a camera and take secret photos of her undressing, she can have you arrested. Again, the act of posing implies consent.

I see no point of focus (anything in focus) in the photo. Plus to be twin peaks you would have to rotate the photo 90-degrees to the right. To be all natural I am assuming you are not speaking of the photograph which looks like it has been pushed to point of being somewhat "cartoonish" in appearance. To each their own and I understand your shooting situation, the approach you are going for in candids, etc. but you have been given so much positive, supportive and suggested tips on your previous photos guess I would assume we will be seeing some of your better work soon?

I’m still feeling my way through this, trying to find something a different. I will keep working on it.

Good idea but not well done. Larger F-stop to give sharper in focus image … less over processing
