Welcome to the forum!! D5300 is a fine body and can produce very nice quality images. I hope you find your experience on UHH positive and worthwhile. Be cautious of two things:
1) Some who are a bit harsh in their critique/criticism who have good intentions but
sometimes are a bit more forward than they may realize
2) The onset of GAS (gear acquisition syndrome) as you read about and see some
amazing results from high end users and their equipement.
The D5300 is a great camera to learn on. Don't be afraid to ask any questions, but be prepared to do some homework and/or follow up on the information you may get here.
