Agfachrome 100, although at the "end" I was shooting Kodak color negatives and scanning them. And then digital!
Velvia?? It's A Wonderful Life? Kodachrome 25?

Kodachrome 25 & Fuji Velvia.
If the question was for the British vernacular then: The Great Escape & Blazing Saddles.
Since you are from the UK, I assume by 'film' you mean 'movie'.
My favorite is 'Mama Mia'. Always puts me in a good mood.
Kodachrome 64 WAS, now its Fuji Velvia 100
When I shot Film, for fun in 35mm, I used Velvia 400, Extar 25,100 and Kodachrome 64, Kodak Professional Portra 400 VC.
For Weddings I shot thousands of rolls of Kodak Professional Portra 400 120 NC and some VC.
I would say my all around favorite was Velvia and for B&W T-MAX 100 or 400. In the 60's Plus-X or Tri-X and Kodacolor .

At least a song, but they took it away.
I like Fuji Velvia best, in movie, Kodachrome 25, Fuji Velvia & Fujichrome!
If your thinking Movies, I'd say "Hamlet, with Richard Burton, 1964"
I was always a fan of Ilford HP5.
