I guess I could shoot black and white. I have an enlarger, trays and other dark room stuff in a footlocker. I haven't developed a roll of film in something like 40 years. The last roll of film I bought cost $10.00 for a 24 exposure roll of Kodachrome; at least I think it was Kodachrome.

Bigmike, I divested myself of all of my darkroom equipment a number of years ago. At one time I developed and printed all of my B&W film. The color film I had developed at a lab and then enlarged those that I found worthy, but there was always the problem of what to do with hazardous chemicals. I still have a tank and reels and a number of rolls of B&W film (old and recently purchased) that I intend to shoot and develop this winter. I will then scan them as I have done with most of my other negatives.

Such a beautiful set. Used to do my own developing but my hands became very sensitive to the chemicals. Had to stop. Now I'm happy to say that I can now do my own developing again by the use of my computer. Mahalo for sharing.

Yeah, I doubt that I will set up a dark room again. As for dangerous chemicals, you get up at midnight and take one cup full and pour it down the toilet. (: I used to sell chemicals and that was the standing joke.

Hi JoAnne, Thank you very much for your kind comment! Yes, computers and digital photography have made life a lot simpler for us and easier on the environment.
