Thanks for posting. I don't know if the poster wants any critique, but I am afraid this composition has me confused. I can't help wonder what it "means" to the photographer or anyone else. I first thought it was a snake wrapped around her, then turned my head to the side to see if it was supposed to be viewed horizontally. The right arm looks disturbingly distorted.

Not to be argumentative, but is it really a negative that a photo is a bit confusing at first glance? I see your point, but both you and I and anyone else with two arms could figure the pose out in a few seconds. The scarf masks a portion of the figure, adds a bit texture, and gives the hands something to do. What struck me was the warm of the palette and the accentuation of the model's curves.

I like this composition! It's always good to use odd angles or positioning to provoke our minds and forcing us to explore a bit. It's these types of creativities that takes us down new photographic paths and prods the viewer to stop and think and learn as well.
I will say that whenever I see an odd color treatment like this I do wonder if the color as shot was odd and not recoverable, so an odd treatment is used to try and save the shot. We've all been there!
Otherwise I think its a very nice job on composition!
Thinking outside of the box is what makes us better though not always produces a better shot.

Certainly a creative angle and interesting result. "Named" shots like this often have me pondering the meaning of the title, and "Safe .." adds a dimension of curiosity that I think adds positively to the result.

Unintended double post; deleted. My pesky mouse button is misbehaving.

Fine composition. I would pp to tone down the shadow.

George, where do you find all these beautiful American Women?
Beautifully done and just a sprinkle of sepia gives the skin and surrounding a pleasant feel

I think this image would have been much more striking in B&W. To my eye, its all too much one tone with little to distinguish the different parts: body, scarf, wall.
