On the national news tonight:

Someone should let the residents of Puerto Rico in on this good news!

Puerto Rico? Isn't that the place where they recently found all these FEMA goods in a warehouse rotting because the local government could not distribute these goods?

I guess the gov of P.R. and millions of us missed something. We'll see how things go on our current weather forecast and make some comparisons.

No matter who you fault, to call that situation a "success" is sad---and "dillusional".
It was a tragedy.

FEMA did its job. It got the goods there. It's up to the locals after that. Trust me when I tell you that's how it works.

Puerto Rico, a l*****t paradise, was unable to help itself.

Yes, their local gov't is almost as f'd up as our national govt.

If you believe the response was as Trump describes it, I would be surprised to say the least.

It was not a "success". That is a sad lie spoke by the man today.
He has no empathy, no moral compass.

I'm stunned that nobody has said "What about Hillary."

I don't think Trump called the situation a success, he said the response was a success.

He said "Puerto Rico was an incredible, unsung success."
Despicable to say. He is not an empathetic soul.
Why is that so difficult to acknowledge?

Why would anyone trust you? That is not how it worked after Katrina there were 70,000 active, reserve and national guard soldiers there, including 5,000 paratroopers of the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division. This is a huge number of non-local military. Compare to Puerto Rico where only 17000 troops were sent and it took 8 days for the first ones to get there.
I know that Donald thinks he could have gotten there quicker if he wanted. Probably true because we all know that s**t floats.
