RMNP, a few more

Few more photos from a trip through the park, primarily from the southern exit. The Elk Rut is just starting and this Bull was rounding up his Harem, very vocal and aggressive when the cows were around. Colorado River exits the park near Granby and then heads southwest cutting through Beyer's Canyon at Hot Sulfur Springs. I was sure hoping a train would come by during my trips through the canyon but alas, none did, beautiful canyon though

Great pictures Blaster34. If you don't mind me asking, what lens were you using on the photo with the man fishing? I can't believe how much detail I could see in him when I downloaded it an zoomed in. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Jim and sure, lens was a Sony 18-135....just walked down to the river, tried to keep from falling in, saw the fisherman and took a shot I liked. Use it primarily for an all around carry lens, small, light, fir the budget, relatively good quality and great for traveling.

Some pretty nice shootin' here, blaster. Not falling into a river is always a plus, too.

Didn't realize the reeds along the river were over 4' high, had to fight my way down....guess the locals know the best ways and trails to the river... ...and thanks a bunch Cany
