First, Thanks a million to Cany143 for his email advice on my trip through Utah.

Here is the Milky Way, looking north at about 11PM. I'm still on the trip, so minimal processing on my small laptop, via a B&B in Escalante. There were clouds floating through the view south, so no galactic center in this one.

The rock formation I've heard called the 3 Sisters and/or 3 Judges, in Goblin Valley.

Perhaps "Judging Sisters." Whatever, this is a beautiful image really well done.

I have a small (maybe 6x8 inches) LED panel light that I set up on a stand. Lowest possible light setting. Set up about 50 feet away, at an angle from the camera. The brand is Flashpoint. In the past I have used my detachable flash, but it is harsh and hard to judge what light you are getting.

Ooh! Oh my!

That is one beautiful image! I'm looking forward to seeing more.

I think you should send Cany a thank you via a private message just to make sure he gets it.

Terrific photo! The light painting is just perfect and not over done. A shot to be proud of.
