Annoying preset feature in LR

A few months ago, LR introduced rollovers for presets. That is, if you roll over a preset, it changes the image accordingly. I find this annoying because I do not have enough time to study the effect of the preset.

I cannot turn this off anywhere. Does anyone know if you can?

Two comments... Either don't roll over the images on the side (preset preview)... Or, do so, but pause on each one that interests you, so that you can study its effects. I use these frequently to quickly choose a starting point. Hovering provides the preview I need to see.

And, in addition to the standard Adobe presets, I have more presets that I purchased. I really like the roll-over preview feature so that I can quickly see their effects on the image. And, you can also create your own special presets. So, obviously I like them.

You can also just not roll over them and never use them. Totally up to you.

The rollovers are good in theory, poor in implementation. For example, I have a family of presets for vignettes. If I compare the third one with the first one, I either have to pass over the second one or scoot around them. Passing over the second obscures the difference between one and three. Another difficulty is overshooting a preset and activating an unrelated one.

What I wish Adobe had done is to make rollovers an option. That way, both you and I would be happy.

Got it! OK, I understand your frustration now.
