A few lines from "The Red Neck Yacht Club"--Craig Morgan
I'm meetin' my buddies out on the lake
We're headed out to a special place (We love!)
That just a few folks know
There's no signin' up, no monthly dues
Take your Johnson, your Mercury or your Evinrude and fire it up
Meet us out at party cove
Come on in the waters fine
Just idle on over, and toss us a line
Basstrackers, Bayliners and a party barge,
Strung together like a floatin' trailer park
Anchored out and gettin' loud all summer long
Side by side there's five houseboat front porches
Astroturf, lawn chairs and tiki torches
Regular joes, rockin' the boat that's us
The Redneck Yacht Club
Just a Funtime Lake day Song.
Here's a few to start out with..
I love being on the water, but didn't get out that much this summer. The first three are from Lake Powell in Arizona, the bottom three from Cochiti Lake in New Mexico.

Great start, Lesley!
I'll have to dig out the few lake/river shots I have,
but will be watching this challenge closely as I
love anything related to "water."
(Except for washing windows...LOL)

p1 - Love this series, Kat! Especially those of Lake Powell!
Beautiful scenery, for sure. Isn't that where they have a huge annual party?

I don't have a lot of "lake" pictures, and only a couple
of the Susquehanna River...hope these are all right.

My son and wife, and two of my granddaughters at Codorus Lake, also know as Project 70

Codorus Lake, which is man-made, is a beautiful place; restricted to boats with maximum 20 hp, so a lot of canoes, kayaks and small fishing boats

Granddaughter #3 taken about 4 years ago, trying to catch minnows

Part of the Susquehanna River right beside our old camp ground, taken during golden hour

This one brings back loads of memories; we use to pitch our tent in May on an island in the Susquehanna and go down every weekend.
