I finally got some time to play around with my teleconverter tonight. Both shots were taken with a Nikon D850, Nikon 200-500mm f/5.6 lens.
The first shot was @500mm, f/5.6 1/100, ISO 200.
The second shot was with the teleconverter, so 1000mm, f/11, ISO 400.
I can't really see a discernible difference. Anyone?
Pic on the top looks bigger ( with 2x ? ). Other than that bottom pic looks just a little sharper to me. I'm viewing them on a 10" Zen pad. Nice shots.

differences are small but the pictures are not comparable: size, ISO and probably postprocessing.
Great shots. Still trying to get the same with my nikon p900.
