This horse appears to have a large growth of some kind on the side of his face. It might be from some older injury.
Many are trying to get rodeos banned because of injuries that have resulted in having to put an animal down. Of course, there are serious injuries to some of the riders also but they do have a choice.
It is entertaining to the people who go to see it but it isn't entertaining to the animals that are forced to participate.
