Bees in flight

Please tell me what I am doing wrong my photo is clear of the flowers and the bees in flight are out of focus and should I use a tripod thank you

From what I can see I would suggest using a camera. Sorry just joking but there is no photo. Terry.

Ask the bee to stop so you have time to focus and that it won't be blurred from moving too fast.

Without seeing a photo, there are two culprits - too slow of a shutter speed and shallow depth of field.
