I set out to capture sunflower shots in a field the next town over. Yellow Warblers were darting in and out of the flowers and across the field quite rapidly. They appeared to be on a feeding frenzy. Even with my lens at 350mm I had to venture quite far out into the field to get up close. Metering was 'spot' but again, fairly far from my standing position. The warbler pictured is a female.

Thank you. A very community minded couple devotes part of their land each year to planting these giant sunflowers. I've taken many beautiful photos as a result. I plan to gift them with a copy of one of my photos this year to show my appreciation.
