After almost a year of no sightings, it seems that a lot of babies were fledged and our wildlife area (Yolo Bypass) is full of Green Herons, doing their usual antics and being seen by us each time we go there. They are not skittish or particularly sensitive to our car driving up. We even saw a weasel jump up at one of the herons and scare it off. These are a few of the many photos I have been taking, as who knows when they will all climb into the reeds and disappear again.
