Apparently I'm running a quicky motel!!!
...and sure enough, she was depositing eggs again!!!
Since we're going away for the weekend in two weeks, I'm cannot take in anymore in.... plus my leaf supply is going down!!
I feel bad, but hoping they survive without me...

Great captures. At least you still have the plants. The Black Swallowtail Butterflies are laying eggs right now and my parsley has been eaten to the ground by the caterpillars.

LOL... and that's why I'm not growing parsley!!! I had 3 swallowtails on my butterfly bush this morning.... as it is, I'm going to call a few nurseries tomorrow and see if anyone still has milweed plants for sale....

You realize that the more plants you have the more butterflies you will have laying eggs? But I will not begrudge them their food and place to procreate - it's the least I can do for them. I put in another bin of parsley so they would leave the first one alone - BAD idea - I just got more of them. What I want to know is where the caterpillars go after they eat all my parsley. One day they are in my plants and the next they are gone and I don't see them anywhere around.
