Which one would you pick.
Getting ready to move up to a full frame Canon camera. I mainly shoot wildlife and street scenes. Looking at the 6D Mark II and the 5D Mark IV. They look very similar on paper but the 5D is 1,250 bucks more. Is it really that better of a camera? Which one would you pick and why. Thanks for all the help.

RonKoris, I ended up with the 6Dii because I could not afford the 5D and I am very happy. I already had a very good set of Canon L lenses most of which were used bought at local camera shops. Since you have saved up enough money to buy either, what I would do is buy the 6Dii, I would buy it and use the extra money and bought some more Canon L lenses.

I use two MK 4's for my work daily. you will not regret the extra expense. The IQ and features are worth the extra. Low light focus, 30mpx and touch screen are all good reasons. I think the dampened shutter adds an extra long life expectancy also you may consider... I managed to find the second MK 4 on craigs list with low use in perfect condition for 2K just a few weeks ago.

Given your uses, the 5D IV has significant advantages, if you can afford them. It is better in low light (for street work) has more pixels, engages more focus points at f8 (important if you use and extender for wildlife shots) and it has two card slots.
The 6D is cheaper and has an articulated screen (which is sort of irrelevant to your uses)
Thanks guys I think I have made my decision. I have a 1,000 Canon E-cash credit so the 5D Mark IV will only hit me with a cost of 1,699.20 which I can handle.

Considering that E-cash is essentially a 10% discount, I wish I had the money to acquire 1,000 E-Cash credits!
Very jealous.
If you add up all the little things that really don't matter that much...more focus points, resolution, screen size, better low light shooting, color depth, 2 storage slots just to name a few...that's what jacks the price up. In real world shooting, their both about the same. Good luck with your choice.
