First, I'm sorry I've missed so many of your posts. Three weeks ago we decided we needed to move to a place with a lot less work. Friday is closing. Wow did it all happen faster than I ever thought. Our house was on the market for two days. Don't move after you've spent the last 37 years in one place! Stuff overload. Finally going to live near the beach.
Can you believe that I was at the national meeting while my wife was at home getting bombarded with phone calls and selling the house. Anyway, here a few dragons I got in the Peatlands and Northwoods of Minnesota close to the shore of Lake Superior. No sun and very buggy but a good time getting together with old friends and meeting some new ones. More to come as I have time to post them. Enjoy!

My sympathies, Doc! Moving is never easy and after so many years it must be a daunting task! I enjoyed these shots and look forward to the rest when you have a little time.

Thank you so much Carol. After the move I will be back posting and commenting on a regular basis.

What a beautiful collection of dragons I've never seen before, Doc, and what excellent shots! I'm so glad the sale of your house was a success and wish you and your wife peace and happiness in your new home! And I'm looking forward to seeing many images of beach dragons!

Oh it's been quite an adventure! Thanks for looking in at my set. Yes, I didn't want to miss this survey. There were a lot of dragons and wildflowers that I had never seen too. Looking forward to finally really being retired.

Thanks Earl. At my age surfing is probably out of the question. Maybe I'll try ice climbing!

Thanks Jim. It was quite a place. Way in back of beyond! Got a lot of lifers. Most of the dragons and damsels were new to me.

Moving is hard. Glad you got to shoot some dragons.
Thanks for the thumb up Rick!

Kathy, don't do it! Moving is so much more stressful than I could have ever imagined. It was nice to get away and shoot dragons but I felt bad leaving my wife to handle everything.
