I was shooting a pair of blue-footed boobies. They were sort of far away, and I was shooting at my longest lens setting, trying to get both of them in the frame. Suddenly, across the frame strode a very determined heron. He stopped between the boobies and turned to me as though to say, I'm the star here. Take my picture! So I did.

Thank you, Mike. I seldom do BIF's and usually they're black, shapeless blobs. But this one turned out very acceptable.
