Seeing beauty in the ordinary.

This plain, ol' road, a Midwestern two-lane after a rain storm, had some beauty for me. So many ordinary things do have a beauty that we as photographers can share with those too busy perhaps to notice.

Nicely done. I once challenged another photographer who was (as I often do), posting nothing but sunsets, etc., over a lake. So we each walked out our doors and looked for "ordinary" in a way that would help the viewer to appreciate what they otherwise overlook. It was a fun exercise.

As you can see from my posts, I do this a lot. The inside of trash cans, groups of things, little details etc.
