I have been taking photos of the Hudson Valley, with its ever-changing scenery, since I was a child visiting my aunt and uncle’s farm in Accord. I hold a B.A. from Adelphi University in Film, and am a graduate of the Germain School of Photography.
In addition to my own photography studio on Long Island, RSG Photography, I also worked professionally for Murray Collens Studio, Studio Garbarini and Jayrod Studios.
My photographs can be seen gracing the websites and advertisements of such companies as Barnes & Noble, Latham & Watkins, the Coalition for the Advancement of Jewish Education, as well as in and around Ulster and Dutchess Counties for Camerata Chorale, Ulster Choral Society, Ulster Chamber Music Society, the Kerhonkson Synagogue, Temple Emanuel, Congregation Ahavath Israel, Temple Beth El of Poughkeepsie, and the St. Joseph School of Kingston.
Over the years, my photography has won top awards from Exposed Photographic Challenges, a ‘Great Shot’ Award from ViewBug, and Silver Awards from the Johanna Harvey Photography Contest and the Trailways ‘Through My Window’ Contest. My artistic philosophy is “God is my set designer.”
I live in Woodstock with my wife, Devorah and a motley assortment of cats; our daughter, Bethanie, is a student at Roger Williams University.
